10th Year - Nations Largest Awards & Artist Exhibit - Art Comes Alive Show

Cincinnati, OH – The countdown is on for the biggest, fine-art event of the year—Art Comes Alive (ACA), hosted and produced by ADC, Art Design Consultants. Known as the “Academy Awards for Art”, ACA’s 10th annual award ceremony and exhibition opening will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

ADC has juried my artwork, yet again, into the 2019 Art Comes Alive Show. A dozen tulip & bee 12" x 12" x 2" - Mixed-Media Oils on Panels will be exhibited amongst the plethora of artists chosen for this years show. Its with a grateful heart

that we will be attending the show & award ceremony for a third year in a row.

For the past 10 years, ACA has supported over 1,500 artists with $1,800,000 in purchase awards, gallery contracts, publishing contracts, publicity, and cash. Other prestigious awards include Emerging Artist of the Year, Summit Artist of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Award for both male and female artists.

ACA accelerates artists’ careers by getting artwork in front of art-industry insiders such as interior designers, art galleries, and art collectors, and to date, over 350 pieces of art have been sold. Artwork is also being sold to prestigious corporate and private collectors locally and nationally.

Litsa Spanos, president of ADC and founder of ACA says the initial idea for ACA came to her when she was at a business award event. She thought, “Why shouldn’t artists also be acknowledged for what they do? Fast forward ten years, and ADC has given artists over $1.8 million in awards!”

This year will be the ninth year exhibiting in ACA for local artist, Tom Owen, who has received purchase awards, gallery contracts, and publishing contracts through ACA. He says, “I love the fact that ACA is a competitive process; having my work evaluated and discussed by the slate of jurors only makes us artists better.” He adds that he loves having the opportunity to be exhibited alongside so many amazing artists.

ACA’s award show will be followed with a two-monthlong exhibition at ADC’s gallery from Monday, October 7th through Friday, December 6th.

The exhibition is free and open to the general public on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ADC is located at 310 Culvert Street, 5th Floor, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Complimentary guest parking is available in an adjacent lot.
